In Win 8. I even had the Windows Store with my Microsoft account logged in and I was still able to login with the local Administrator Account. I updated to Win10 and I was still using the local administrator account. I have also tried restarting the PC and logging in Safe Mode, however my local Administrator account password is different and I don\’t know why it was changed or what has changed it.

I think that it was changed when the MS account was merged with the local Administrator account. I tried chaning the password of the Administrator account but I always got a message saying:.

And then, yes you need to enter the Microsoft Account password to get to desktop. While using Local Account, specifically you may not be able to use a program as above with Microsoft Account. Hope this information is helpful.

I think it was because I was using the local Administrator account. I will set up a VM and let you know the results. Then, when I logged in into the Store App and, in the step when I am asked to type my password account, I just clicked on \”Just logon on this app\” link and that\’s it.
